Today is RELEASE DAY! My third short story comes out today and I’m particularly proud of this one because it is part of Torquere’s Charity Sip Blitz. Their chosen charity this year is the NOH8 campaign and I couldn’t be more thrilled to support this charity with my story! Here’s what Torquere has to say about the Charity Sip Blitz:
For 2012-2013, Torquere’s authors have chosen the theme “Leather Bound” in
honor of Torquere’s ninth anniversary. The ninth is traditionally the
leather anniversary, what better theme to let GLBTQ writers go wild. The
charity which will benefit from this year’s Charity Blitz is NOH8, whose
mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education,
advocacy, social media, and visual protest. More than twenty five authors
have written short fiction pieces and have agreed to donate all proceeds of
the sales of these stories to this year’s charitable organization. Torquere
Press Inc. will match the authors’ donations completely.
This year, we’re also pleased to announce that our distribution partner,

My short story is called Nothing Better Than Leather. And boy did I grow to love these boys. Here’s a little bit about them.
Zeke is a writer, who spends his evenings working as a valet at The Palm Restaurant, and lusting after a particular silver BMW 3 Series and its owner. Josh is the owner of that BMW and the only thing he enjoys about his routine evenings at The Palm is the red-haired valet who parks his car. When Josh is injured in an accident at the restaurant and Zeke is volunteered to drive him home, will their time spent together result in something more – or will Zeke forever remain the nameless valet who parks Josh’s car?
Take one feisty valet, one straight-laced banker, mix in a fancy car and a long drive out to Malibu, and see what pulls up.
